I have been though many Fitbit introductions and it looks like Fitbit is delivering another device that is not ready. Why do they do this? If too buggy, Amazon will be getting it back quickly.

I think you’ve got to keep in mind that people don’t tend to post things in forums when there’s nothing wrong.
A large number of the watches sent so far will not have had any issues, though if you are unlucky enough to receive a faulty one then a replacement/refund will be pretty straightforward with Amazon.
For me it’ll all depend on how quickly they start updating the devices now the bugs are being exposed.

How do you know? You haven't even received it and set it up?
People complain when they dont know how to deal with technology. I guess you are part of them

How do I know?
Are you reading the post here?
It is just like when the Charge 2 and Ionic was introduced. Same problems. These should be ironed out BEFORE they deliver devices. At least the majority of them. Come on WendyB, you have been here a long time, do you think this is good?

I agree 100% but I am seeing the same issues previous devices have had.

First you complain that you are not getting soon enough. Then you complain when there are a few bugs. Why do you think they do a controlled pre-release??? So they can work the bugs out in a controlled manner before these things hit their retail partners.

LOL! Where did I was not getting soon enough? Read often.
More bugs should be worked out BEFORE the device is delivered. I can see a few but the post here are telling.

Not necessarily referring to you. But the general tone of this msg board.
Who knows what % of people are having real problems.
People should really exhaust their avenues on tech support before they post on here.

I've had mine for about 24 hours and am really happy with it; no major glitches or issues so far.
If you're looking for what I've found to be more largely positive commentary/questions, I recommend joining the FB group "Fitbit Versa Group" (Someone posted about it in a separate thread...)

You are getting a lot of flack on this, but I agree. I have had mine for three days now and there are definitely some bugs. Music controls are buggy for most phones, custom workout stats don't save, Fitbit pay gives me card read errors, and "connected GPS" has been a nightmare for me (constantly disconnects). I still am enjoying it for the most part, but It needs some work.

Also detailed sleep stats are not working, and it seems others are experiencing this as well.

I am hoping for the best. Will not be here till next week and hope most of the features work.
Until then, still enjoying the Charge 2!

I think I am going to pass on this one. I will stick to my Charge 2 for now.
