Problems connecting to Wi Fi

Trying to connect my new Versa to my Virgin Wi Fi account and it won’t accept it. Fitbit helpline says my WiFi is overspeced  as its 5GH and needs to be 2.4GH. Seems mad that your Wi Fi can be too high a specification to connect to the watch. Any ideas on what I should be doing.

Most wifi routers today can use both frequencies. Check your router for a setting that enables both.
