Question about messages on Versa

Hello, new to the forums here, Is it possible to get spam messages on my phone from someone I don’t know? The versa I am using is my wife’s since she got an new Apple Watch, since she doesn’t use it anymore why am I getting messages from people I don’t know? For this version of Versa what notifications can you receive? Are they just text messages from your phone? Or does messenger work on this Versa too?  I think this versa is the first model, not the 2.

Hello @Fletch79 and welcome to the Help forum.  Are these messages coming from people your wife knows?  Did your wife remove the Versa from the list of Bluetooth devices on her phone?  I am not a Bluetooth expert, but I think this was the answer when others asked the same question.

Here is a link to all the Fitbit User Manuals.  The original Versa has three real buttons.  The Versa 2 has one real button.

Thanks for your reply, I guess one of my questions is that if her phone is still paired and there are messages from someone showing up on the watch that she doesn’t know, does that mean the account could be hacked or something? Again I’m not smart watch savvy, but I would assume any notifications showing on the watch come from the phone only, hoping you can maybe help? Sorry for bothering you.
