Quick Release Pin broke

Has anyone ever had the quick release pin break off after the band was in place?  I had this happen and cannot get the one side of the band out of my watch now.  Help!

Are you still within warranty? It runs for 12 months from purchase (24 months if you are in Europe). If so, the band will be covered and you could contact customer support to see what they can do to help: contact.fitbit.com

I had the housing of my inspire break away and they sent me a new one. 4 weeks later the replacement broke - pin fell off complete and watch fell off my wrist. I’m done with inspire hr. What’s a better design?
