There are posts that are 3 years old from people who have asked the same question(quick reply for ios). I would really want this feature and I personally feel this is a major drawback from Fitbit for its ios users including me.  

So, what is the status here?

As @SteveH has pointed out, at this moment such feature is not currently planned for our iOS users just as stated on this feature suggestion: Quick Replies for iOS Devices. However, even though the current status is Not currently planned, this doesn't mean that we are not reviewing the feedback we receive from our iOS users, therefore, I suggest you to participate there, leave your comments and a vote. We look forward to review your input.

From other posts I've seen on this subject, the issue is that Apple do not allow it so there's not a lot Fitbit can do.
