I’m just curious...I understand the quick reply text function will be available for android users sometime in May for the Versa. Now will this be given to us through a software update or should I just wait till that function comes out before buying a Versa? I don’t want to buy a Versa and find out I have to buy a different version.

The reason is that it's an Apple thing- Apple doesn't allow third-party apps to send calls or texts/imessages. This is true for all non-Apple watches working with iOS (Android Wear, Pebble, Garmin, Fitbit), they just don't have the permissions to send messages. They could do third party apps like WhatsApp, but not native txt/imessage.

I'm looking for a "fix" to this too

How hard can it be for the development crew to add (lets say 10) more quick replies?
Its really bad to only have 5 quick replies to choose. It should almost be like infinite options.
