I've got a Moto G. My Versa is repeatedly losing notification connection even though Bluetooth is connected (calls, texts, calendar, emails). I've reset just about everything resettable to get the notifications up and running and they'll start working again, but they keep disconnecting for no particular reason. I'm incredibly frustrated that almost weekly now I have to fight with both my Fitbit and phone to reconnect the notifications. Can someone help me, cause I'm at my wit's end with my Versa.
If you're having issues with your notifications and if you've tried everything to fix them; maybe you can verify the phone compatibility and the OS version that your Moto G is running.
You can check if your phone's compatible here ----> www.fitbit.com/devices
Also you can try removing the watch from your Bluetooth settings of your phone and setup your Fitbit as a new device. 😁
Hope this helps! ✌🏻
Best AnswerForgot to add that the reason why you need check the phone's compatibility, is because when a phone's not compatible, you can experience issues with your notifications 😣
Best AnswerI've removed it from my Bluetooth in the past, but it still gets disconnected after about a week. My device is compatible as far as I can tell, I've just got no idea what keeps causing it to disconnect after I reconnect it, or why it even disconnects in the first place. Thanks for the idea, but like I said I've tried everything :')
Best AnswerIn general trying everything simply means I've tried everything he user has found to try.
For me a restart of the phone usually works, then I will through the notifications settings, three dots menu, disable notifications, then re-enable this usually forces the app to request est permission.
I have noticed that if the tracker does not show up in the bluetooth list, notifications will not be sent.
I assume you have already reached out to Fitbit.
