Replying to messages

Hi there!!

New to the fitbit versa so any help is appreciated!

Can I reply to a message without using the quick message feature? Or can I only choose from 5 messages to reply with?

Also, when writing the auto replies, there's no option for me to save them... so it isn't working?

Welcome to fitbit!

You can only use the pre-set quick replies I'm afraid but you can configure which replies are available. There's a guide to doing this at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2344/

In the guide you linked, to change quick replies it says:

5. Tap the back arrow to return to the list of apps and automatically save your changes.

When I do this, my changes are not saved; they revert to the defaults. I've tried multiple times, waiting different amounts of time, but there's no way I can find to change the quick replies.

I can change the emojis (and those changes save) but changes to the text don't save.

I'm using the Android Fitbit app and have a Versa.

It looks like there is a bug with changing quick replies.  A number of people have reported it here:
