Resting Heart Rate and Calorie Count Inaccurate?

I don't know if it's just me, but is anyone else experiencing a jump in RHR?  And also, are their workouts not counting as many calories?  I was at barre yesterday and typically would burn about 115-125 calories.  I barely got to 100.  And at Essentrics today, I only got to about 170.  It's usually closer to 200.

RHR has also been higher than usual - about a 3 beat jump.

I’m having to complete opposite happening re: calories. I wake up and at almost 300-500 calories already burned. Insane! The past few weeks have tracked close to 1700-2000 calories burned daily. There is no possible way!

I hope someone can help us figure out how to fix our issues. Please. Thanks!

It could be an aberration. These are small deviations from normal, so it might be that you are tired, or stressed, or fighting a bug or whatever.

My RHR has gone from 51 to 54 in the last few days, but it may be right since I am stressed out a bit with work, and also it fluctuates in most people a little from day to day.

I'm actually wondering if it's a firmware issue.  I know a few other people with Fitbits and they, too, have been reporting increases in RHR.  It DID go down a BIT (as in it's now in the high 60s), but not to the mid-60s where I want it to be.

My Versa's firmware is still at 32.33.1.30, which came out at the end of 2018. So I doubt it.

Although, with all the issues reported, you'd think Fitbit would be pushing firmware updates more often....
