Run that will not delete

For some reason I have a run that is stuck on my fitbit.  I have tried doing a hard reboot on the device itself but it keeps coming back.  If I delete it from my "weekly exercise" section it removed, but then the next time I do a run it comes back on some random time (usually in the middle of the night).

For example, I did a run this morning and shortly after it logged, I noticed almost 3000 more steps than I should have had.  I go into the weekly exercise and there is an additional run now logged at midnight.  This run shows 0 minutes in all heart rate zones but shows I burned 250 calories and did 2946 steps.  If I delete this, my steps go back to what they should be.  But, the next time I do a run, it pops up again.

Is there something I can do to get this out of the device for good?

Thanks

Try this, Julie.  Delete the data you desire and sync your tracker before doing ANYTHING else. If that doesn't work, do the same steps as earlier except this time, follow the sync with a Restart before doing ANYTHING else. Try the Restart several times if necessary.
