Running GPS Versa compared to charge 2

My new Versa GPS is saying I'm running on average 1km slower per run compared to my Charge 2. Both are linked to the same phone which less than a year old. Has the charge 2 being telling me lies or is the Versa not giving me enough credit?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @OLG112. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I understand your concern regarding the discrepancy you're seeing between your devices. I appreciate the additional details. The algorithms used in both devices are the same, so you should see no more than a standard 4% variation between the two. It's possible to get different readings if the devices are worn in different locations (dominant vs non-dominant wrist).

If you haven't done so, I'd like you to restart your device as described in this help article. This will refresh your watch internally.
I would also recommend checking out this article with information about the different factors that can affect connected GPS. For more information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices, please see in this help article: How accurate are Fitbit devices?

If you continue to see a big difference in your tracked data, please let me know. I will be glad to assist you further.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
