So I just got an email from Withings announcing their new watch coming which (along with EKG) will provide SPo2 readings and monitor for sleep apnea (even providing a nightly sleep apnea graph). Soooo Fitbit ... what’s the situation with SPo2 on your watches? You first had it on the Ionic 3 years ago with promises of monitoring for sleep apnea, and since then, not only has Garmin added functioning SPo2 sensors to their lineup, but now little Withings as well. How much longer are you planning to sit on this feature? You had it first and have YET to activate it. Super frustrating. Hopefully Google will get on this next year. Peace!

There seems to be something going on with the rollout of SPO2 features. See the following thread for comments from fitbit:

Thanks for posting that link. I missed that news. It's a good step forward and I hope Fitbit rolls it out to everyone soon (I'm paying for the Premium service and haven't seen it yet. It would have been nice if all the premium users got access to the data while they slowly rolled it out to the rest of the fitbit users. I'd have thought that was a perk for paying extra each month).

I'm rather disappointed with most of the info from my watch on pulse, and from seeing one person's description of what you get if you do get access to Fitbits version of SpO2 function you only get a little line with sort of a thumbs up or down indication. I'm wondering if there is a way to get a 3rd party developer to write a app, that would let you download from your watch the min by min granular data.from the SpO2 sensor and pulse, and make sure its correctly linked to time. I'm really not liking all the data analysis done for me, with a figurative little gold star or happy face telling me I'm doing a great job like a pat on the head you'd give a 4 year old. Is there no way to access the raw data about our own bodies that our watches we payed good money for collects?
I mean if you don't have the understanding to read a graph and work out your own conclusions and want to pay a premium to have someone do that for you, fine, but for the rest of us. Just give us a way to access the raw data along with some sort of time stamp please.
