I have a salt water pool / hot tub at home, can I wear my Versa safely? What about the woven band vs. silucone one? Thank you.

You are braver than me if you swim in it. I’ve seen a number of people on here say their Versa dies after being exposed to water (swimming or showering). I definitely wouldn’t use it in a hot tub because it says right in the instructions not to use in hot tub or sauna. I don’t know if the people who have a problem after swimming/showering just have faulty Versa’s, but I’m not willing to risk it, personally. I would suspect that saltwater would also be corrosive but maybe not. I’d be curious to hear from someone who has had success swimming with it!

If it is a hot tub, I d say dont risk it. If it is a warm pool, it should be fine. Id suggest not wearingnthe woven band, but the elastomer ones are fine. If disaster strikes and it isnt waterproof (which occasionally happens, but not often) it should be covered by the warantee anyway. I have an Ionic and swim in a 26 to 28 degree pool, in the ocean and shower in kt with no problems.

I have the versa. I just got it back after being in the ocean. The versa didn't die, but the heart monitor stopped working. Idk if it died while in the water or after I got out and didn't rinse it but the monitor completely failed.
