Samsung a5

Hello, i just preordered my versa and i just heard that it might not work with my samsung a5?? Is this true?? I need some advise please. Will it be added to the list soon? I have seen posts about it for months

If its not on the approved list it probably will not work

@Klaufit, if you have the Fitbit app, you have an account. You can sign into your account and sync your device and do everything from your computer. It's basically the same as the app, but it might have some more some less but give or take, they are the same on the app or the computer.

Ahh i see thanks. I need the watch to work with my phone for the notifications still . For fitness functions i guess i can use the laptop

It will work.....

 For example iOS phones track steps on their own. So if you downloaded the fitbit application there, the application would be able to "read" the steps tracked from your phone.

But not all phones track steps on their own. I have galaxy A5 and it doesn't. But you plan to use a fitness tracker and not your phone to track steps etc, so you are good!....

Conclusion

If you want to use your phone as a fitness tracker you can't with A5.

If you buy a  tracker from fitbit it will work with any android phone.

so i got my versa yesterday, set it up with my phone without a problem and it does work since. I am getting all calls, text, app notifications from viber, facebook,  everything:-) happy

Same with me upgraded from charge 2 to versa.. 5 days now. One of my problems is i receive error on syncing like twice a day i need to close/open bluetooth. 😞

The Samsung Galaxy A5 still isn't on the list. I have the 2016 model and recently bought the Versa. It works amazing and I get all my notifications!
