I am writing in the hopes that someone can help me. I purchased my first Versa from Target on 4/19. It was the all black model. I had no problem syncing, or with any of the features of the watch. The problem was the battery lasted only 12 hrs. I called support, read the forums, and tried all the tips and nothing worked so I returned it 4/26 after one week of use. I went to Best Buy 4/26 and purchased the special edition grey watch. Again everything went fine with the setup. However, with this watch, the clockface, heart rate and step features are funky.
1. Clockface: The clock was not showing the correct time. I went over the time with a client and had to quickly end a session to get to the next one on time. If I have a brand new watch I’m not expecting the time to be incorrect.
Heart Rate: My heart rate is jumping all over the place and is registering higher on this Versa than the other one I had.
Steps: It’s over counting steps when I’m driving and not always counting the steps when I’m actually walking.
Is there anything that I can do to fix this? I think the watch is pretty to look at and I like the way Fitbit presents data in the app, but for $245.18 I rather it actually work. I am open to and willing to try any suggestions. I have already restarted it 3 times. The battery works great on this one. Prior to the Versa I had the original Fitbit Flex for four years. Thanks for listening and offering assistance.

Hi ya, I don’t know how much I can help. But when you say you have reset your watch is that by pressing the 2 buttons 1 either side of the watch at the same time or did you do a full factory rest?

Hi! I held one button on each side. I have not done a factory reset.

The other thing I was going to say is have you tried shutting down your watch? One of the things I’ve heard is to make sure you are wearing your watch on your non dominant wrist and make sure the same reflects in you Fitbit app.
in the time being for extra help in case shutdown doesn’t fix it. I’m tagging in a couple Fitbit folk who may have more insight.
@LucyAP @AlessFitbit @HeydyF and @MarcoGFitbit maybe you can help rectify these glitches @Voncole is having with her now 2nd versa

I’d say hold off for a sec on doing a factory rest try doing a shutdown to switch off watch. You go to settings on your watch, scroll down to the bottom in settings, click on about and select shutdown. Maybe give it a couple mins the power back up.

I wear the watch on my non-dominant hand but have not shut it down. Thank you for mentioning the others that can possibly offer more assistance. I’m really hoping I can get this working. I want to use the FitBit pay feature but with it not being able to do the regular features I’m worried about putting my credit card info in.

Totally you want to make sure it’s running properly before you do all that. I’ve been using the Fitbit pay today and it’s a lovely feature.

@Voncole Thank you I’m so glad mine is ok and my mums is too.
You did the right thing though you shouldn’t have to accept faulty goods. And you tried twice. their loss

Mine does the same thing. At 10:00 a.m. my watch said 7:45. I had to sync it to get the time right. Ran 2.5 miles and it only recorded 1. Time is off no less than once a day and sometimes I can't get the screen to come up to even see the time. I'm probably going to give up and see if I can exchange it for another Charge 2.
