I destroyed my box on opening and now 8 months later my device will not work. I have troubled shot it with now success. But in order to exchange for a new device the store required a serial number. Even if I had the receipt. Can someone help me.

I didn't think it was possible to get your serial number without the box but I came across the following thread which suggests a way: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-2/Finding-Charge-2-serial-number/m-p/2254546
If that doesn't help then you could try contacting customer support via contact.fitbit.com They may be able to help fix the problem or help with the serial number. If you continue to have issues with the store, customer support will also be able to check your warranty status and advise on your options.
