Shock kills Fitbit Versa

Was doing some construction around the house and a live wire touched my arm. The same arm my Versa is on. The shock was annoying but when I looked at my Versa it was acting funny, then faint, colourful lines started forming on the face followed by it shutting down. Tried powering back on, rebooting it, placed in charger... nothing works. When a button is pushed while in a dark room you can see it light up a little but will not work. The shock must have fried the circuit board

Hi @Cleego313 , really do not know if this is covered by warranty, but, since it was an accident, you can always contact Customer Support and give it a try. Regards kuzibri

I did, not covered by warranty, watch was over a year old. They offered me 25% off from their website which is close to the prices in the store. Decided to pay the extra money and got an Apple Watch 5
