I have never had a Fitbit and I'm new to the wearable tech game. Interested in the Versa for it's GPS connectivity. I'm assuming the GPS option on the Versa uses a connection to a mobile phone through bluetooth? Was wondering if it is possible to stay connected to my phone for GPS AND connect my bluetooth headphones at the same time?

I'm not sure about connecting your headphones and GPS at the same time. The Versa uses your phone's GPS:

Connected GPS
See pace & distance during runs or rides by connecting to your phone’s GPS.

 

The Ionic has built-in GPS, but it's about ~$200 more (depending on your location).
