I have had my Versa for 3 weeks now. It worked perfectly up until last Saturday when I updated the firmware. Since then every day seems to bring a new problem. I am now getting phantom steps whilst charging my watch (the place where I charge my Versa hasn't changed), my battery drained 60% in 24 hours where usually I only get 20-25% drain and my calculated resting heart rate has been steadily increasing ~7bpm over 6 days. My sister who also has a Versa (had it since launch) is experiencing similar issues all which began after the firmware update.

Hey @Onie2, welcome aboard! Let me give you a hand on these inconveniences. Let's start with steps. If your Versa seems to be tracking steps while charging it, I'd like to know if you left your Versa close to a fan or anything that may have been buzzing or vibrating on the same surface that watch was placed on. If that isn't the case and the issue persists, let me know.
Now regarding the battery draining, please take a look at the tips in this post to make it last longer.
And now about your resting heart rate increment, I'd like you to take a look at the tips in this other post to improves the accuracy.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi @HeydyF. All of these problems are happening as of the update and I haven't changed anything about how I wear, use or charge my versa.
No my fitbit does not charge near a fan. It charges where it has since I got it and was perfectly fine until a week ago.
I should not have to change my fitbit settings to get the battery to last longer if I am using it in the exact same way as before and went from a 20-25% battery drain in 24 hours to a 60% battery drain in 24 hours. In fact I turned l day sync off yesterday and only synced it 2 times and I still had a battery drain of 60% in 24 hours. It is ridiculous that your advice to users is to turn off a lot of features which would make the device useless.
I regards to the heart rate I am aware of how to wear it accurately as I have had a blaze for 2 years prior to upgrading to a versa and a charge hr for two years prior to that and never had a problem. Furthermore this was not an issue for the first 2 weeks I had my versa and I have not changed the way I wear it.

On top of all of that. I was just checked my heart rate and my versa said it was 117bpm. I manually checked my heart rate and it was not that high. I restarted my versa and it read 70bpm which was what I manually verified it to be.

I ended up exchanging my Versa for a new one as the battery life kept getting worse and worse. Luckily this new one seems to be having no problems so far and is on 32.32.10.15.
