Sleep Tracking not Working Correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

something has gone badly wrong with my sleep tracking. It thinks I’m asleep even if I sit down to watch tv or read. In particular while I’m using the computer. So I get readings at all times of the day and stats are completely useless.

im guessing this happened a after a recent update but can’t be sure.

contacted Fitbit chat but all they could suggest was factory reset which I finally managed to get through after a lot of fiddling about with wireless and Bluetooth setting.

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Mikel07 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that your Versa is detecting sleep when you are awake. Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you stay still or don't move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your dominant hand to increase the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time.

Let me know how it goes!
