So disappointed in step count

My Versa step and floor count is wildly inaccurate. I can accumulate up to 10 floors a day without even seeing stairs and I accumulate steps with sitting doing nothing.

I looked forward to this device so much and I am very, very disappointed in its performance.

I have tried adjusting my stride, etc and it is still so inaccurate on steps and distance, it's pathetic.  This is my 4th Fitbit and they have all been just as inaccurate.  I think that the heart rate and calories are fairly accurate but that is about all...  I will definitely not be buying another device again.  I was hoping they would get better over time, but I was way wrong.  Hopefully you get your issue resolved...

Wow! Your fourth! Sorry to hear about your issues as well. I just got mine and I am very sad to see how many are having this type of issue. I'm very frustrated with its performance. No more FitBit for me either. 🙂 I'll stick with my Gear S2.

I think I am going to return it for an apple watch... try something different that hopefully actually counts steps accurately??!!

I'm on my 4th one too! I wonder how some are so bad while others work fine... I have gotten thousands of steps almost every day when I am sitting still in a chair... this has happened with every single one they have shipped me. I hope my next replacement is one of the good ones that actually work.

Update... I finally got approved to get a refund from FitBit. Number 4 didnt function properly either.

Well you are luckier than me!!! Glad to hear that for you. Just junk... I gave up on the fit bit. I got an apple watch and so far so good!!
