SpO2 clock face not working on my Versa 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I have a Versa 2 with the clockface to monitor SpO2 downloaded. It’s been working fine for ages but for the past 4 nights it won’t track in the app. On the watch I can view my overnight % but the app keeps telling me to download the clock face. I’ve checked my permissions and all are turned on. I’ve toggled the Bluetooth on/off to try and reset the connection, re-synced the watch and nothing is making a difference. Any ideas welcomed!

Hi LauraMatt,

I've had the same issue since an update on Wednesday. After some basic trouble shooting I started a chat with Support yesterday but got disconnected. The tech suggested a factory reset which I accomplished. After setting up my Versa the problem remained. Today I did another factory reset AND removed and reinstalled the Fitbit app on my phone. The problem is still there. Hope we hear something soon about a fix or another update.

Thanks jm900, how frustrating for you for it still not to work after going to that effort. Let’s hope a fix is sorted soon!

Hi There. I have exactly same issue on my Sense. I have installed app and face but I can not monitor SpO2 on my iphone. it iis requesting installation of app and face. What is funny I can see my Spo2 on my watch under Today. It  is shown there. So there should be again problem with Fitbit up on mobiles. All these issues only within last 4 days.

Ditto the problem.  Awaiting FitBit's response with interest.

To add to my 'ditto' ... the watch indeed gives the SpO2 readings for overnight ... for me they are always normal and within limits.  Last night there was a lower limit of 86% (albeit the average was 94%) which is well outside my usual range.  I'm not worried about it but why then does the SpO2 graph in the Sleep Restoration section show no high variation.  All is not well in FitBit land!

This seems to be a known problem across all watches.

Do not attempt to repair it - you can't. Any attempts made will only make the situation worse.

There seems to be a problem at Fitbit server level introduced by them a few days ago and until they fix it there is nothing to be done except contact them.

I have the same issue and to add to it, along with no sleep score the GPS failed to record my walk today. It said it was connected to my phone but guess not. It didn't map it or give me the proper distance. Frustrated with Versa 2 issues.

You won't be able to get the spo2 clock face until your fitbit gets a new update I had to wait 24 /48 hours on my update showing just keep eye out for it

Hi, it randomly started working on its own again! I’ve now had 2 nights of results show up on the app. The clockface never disappeared from my watch though, I could always see my SpO2 stats on the watch, it just wasn’t transferring to the phone app. Hopefully the glitch is now fixed!

No I didn’t do anything, just started working. It hasn’t synced any of the missing data but I have the past 2 nights now viewable on the app.

@AleOlivas  When you install your replacement watch it has to update to the latest firmware in order to be able to download the SpO2 clock face.

You can check you have the latest here - What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?
