Hello—-took a 30 minute spin class today and my versa tracked my hr and active minutes but it didn’t register as an exercise? Why would this not auto recognize? Do I need to manually add this every time I take a spin class? ThNks for any help

By touching the weekly exercise tile you can see (in descending order) the auto recognized activities. If the 30 minute spin showed up as something else you can't manually change the name from here; but you can from a browser dashboard.
go to fitbit.com and log in, the activity should be at the top of the charts in the Exercise tile. Click it, the the word "Activities" at the top left header of the expanded detail chart. Click the pencil next to the name of that activity in the list and type in spin in the pop up edit box.
Spinning over 10 minutes should auto recognize, maybe just an odd morning or low battery on your tracker or phone. I'm sure a hiccup.
Let us know what happens after the next class, always curious what folks are up to 🙂 Good work.
You might also check that spin is in your exercise list by touching the gray index card (accounts) scroll up to Exercise, mine has "Elliptical" 15 minutes or longer rather than spin.
