Hello Nemanja014,

I have the exact same problem.

But there s another part of the problem maybe youy did not experienced.

At first I found the solution; If all-day sync is enabled and that the Fitbit app keeps running in the background, then the spotify control app on the watch works.

Now another problem is that it causes battery drain on my iphone. I lost 34% of my battery yesterday doing that on my work day between 8am and 5pm. So I disabled the fitbit app running in background and the all-day sync.

Since then, Spotify on the watch is not working anymore.

So my conclusion is that the spotify app uses bluetooth to connect to the running Spotify app on your phone, but not the wifi. --> I configured the same wifi connection on my iphone and my Versa2.

I thought that the app was connecting to Spotify service using the wifi and my account to get the control, but it seems it's not working that way...

Let's hope that they change this. But I doubt it and for me that might be a deal breaker...

My issue is that for when I try to use the spotify app it keeps telling me I need to connect to wifi and my fitbit does not maintain a connection thus not allowing me to use the spotify app

My other issue is that spotify on the fitbit app keeps switching to a free account which is incorrect as I own a premium account

I successfully tried the "HR for Spotify" which is basically a Spotify control app with your Heart Rate displayed on the GUI.

Very simple but yet very solid connection towards Spotify 'cause I did not have any problem using it like with the official app made by Spotify...

Unfortunately if you cut bluetooth on the phone or stop the app it stops working 'cause I have the feeling it constantly checks for bluetooth connection with the phone. But it still works with All-Day sync disabled and that saves a lot of battery!
