Spotify for Versa

Hi there, having been a Fitbit user for many years but like many others, I'm fed up of waiting for a definitive answer from Fitbit regarding Spotify and doubt it will ever happen, I've held back from Versa but am running out of time now as my Charge 2 is failing a little.

I have options of Apple Watch for £29 through my life Insurance but don't use an iPhone or have patience with 24 hour battery life so that's out! I have head there may be a Galaxy Watch coming in the next few weeks, do these type offer Spotify offline does anyone know along with fitness features like the Charge 2?

Tried Garmin for a few days 2 years back but didn't really like the app so does anyone have any recommendations. Really want Spotify offline, fitness features & basic call notification or apps?

Thank you

Hey @garybrett1703, great to have you on board.

Regarding your inquiries, please take a look at the Spotify for Ionic/Versa request, vote for it and leave your comment. Fitness feature, what do you mean with that? With Fitbit Versa you can receive call notifications and apps.

For more information about this watch, click here to have the manual.

Catch you later. Smiley Happy

Thanks for your reply, that was my poin. People have been asking for clarification for a long time but Fitbit wont say one way or another. Surely its either Yes, we are working on it or No, its a non starter, that would I believe limit the frustrations of people who desire it?

To be honest, looking at these forums and Googling suggests there are lots of issues with the Versa, mainly with syncing and logging, bit hesitant to jump in right now so may try and keep the Charge2 working as long as possible or move away for a bit. That Galaxy watch looks good on paper 🙂

Thanks for the participation @garybrett1703 and your feedback.

Our team know this suggestion is really popular. Unfortunately, we don’t have an update at the moment but I suggest sharing your interest with Spotify too. You can vote on their ideas community board here. I hope this can be implemented soon.
