Spotify is working fine on my versa 2, when I am not exercising, but when I am recording exercise, for example running, it is impossible to access spotify on my versa 2. Is it possible to change songs and playlist on spotify app, while versa2 is recording exercise? I can hear music from spotify during work out, but it is impossible to access that app during work out.

Hi there @JaanaV, thanks for stopping by. I'm sorry for the late response.
The Spotify app allows you to control the music playing on the Spotify app on your phone, computer, or other Spotify-connected device, and to like songs and switch between playlists. The Spotify app on your Fitbit device doesn’t support offline music playback.
To control the Spotify app from your watch:
For troubleshooting, see Why can't I control music with my Fitbit device?
I've moved your post to Versa Smartwatches since your post is more related to this board.
Let me know if you need further assistance, I'll be around.

Spotify is working OK, and I can control it with my versa, while operating it on my mobile phone. The problem is that when I am exercising, for example running, I cant access spotify app, for example change songs and playlist. Is it really so, that when you are reconding an excercise, you can`t control spotify at the sametime?

can you use spotify on Versa 2 without having your phone nearby?

No, the app is a joke, only can hit play and pause on your phone, it's a crappy remote and looks like some kids first programming project.

No. Which makes it seem redundant. Why go through the hassle if you still need your phone? The only reason I can think of, is if you have your phone in a backpack or someplace inconvenient while doing a sport. You can use the music app for offline media, but you have to transfer the files from your desktop Fitbit app via WiFi (which is a pain). Switching between bluetooths on my phone/desktop has been a little frustrating too. You don't pair your versa 2 from your phones bt settings, you do it from the Fitbit app, and I even had to turn my computers bt off and reset my phone+versa 2 to get them to connect again. Definitely not intuitive. I've wasted a lot of time trying to figure this thing out🤷:male_sign:.

......and other items you cannot use your desktop app, you must use your phones app.

I have this issue too. Brought the versa 2 thinking I could change my music on my watch whilst running as a quicker handy tool but you can’t when your watch is set to an exercise like a run /weights/treadmill. I appreciate you can change the Spotify when your are just out for a stroll but this defeats the object of being able to use Spotify when running, can this be resolved at all? I’m disappointed that I can’t skip a song when out running.
