My average step count is 10,000 steps to every 5 miles. This new versa says I've not walked but 7,000 steps and I already have 5 miles. Step count way off.

@4HisGlory You need to adjust your stride length settings. Please take a look at this help article.

Yes I have reset my stride length many times. The versa is not counting my steps accurately, it's about 3,000 steps behind. Stride length doesn't seems to help that. If it isnt even counting the step, then its not calculating the length of that step either. Thanks anyway.

@4HisGlory have you tried rebooting your tracker several times (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo appears)? Also, which hand are you wearing your tracker on? Also, make sure that the Wrist Placement setting in the Fitbit app is set to Non-dominant.
ETA: You can also verify the step count, by walking 100 steps in a straight line and checking how many steps Versa counted.
