Steps Tracker Problems

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello! This weekend my Versa wouldn't track my sleep and today (Tuesday) I noticed it wasn't tracking my steps accurately so, I restarted it. After I restarted it, the steps tracker now doesn't stop climbing even when it isn't even being moved. The screen also wants to constantly stay on. I have factory reset everything and my steps tracker is still climbing 1 step per second without the watch being moved. I am lost, someone please help!

Hello @bmkuhn8, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.

Thank you for confirming that you already tried to restart the watch and the factory reset procedure. Since it's not a common behavior and you already tried the necessary troubleshooting steps, I've gone ahead and sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance, so you should be getting a reply soon.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

After discussing everything my Versa was doing, they gave me the option to get 50% off any Fitbit device or be sent a new Versa for no charge. I really love my Versa, so I decided to get another one. I have had this new one for a couple of weeks now and it is SO good to have it back! Everyone was super helpful and responded so quickly! Thank you so much for all of your help!
