I am getting distance results with the same amount of steps.  Is there a way to fix that.

@MaryBrentlinger you mean a different distance? It can happen. Please remember the Versa will credit you steps not only when walking, but also when performing other activities - even those not step-based like biking, cross-country skiing, etc. Even moving around the kitchen will earn you steps, but the stride length won't be that of walking. I've seen this happening quite often.
