Hi all, since a few days i'm using the fitbit versa. I go to work on my e-bike (takes about 30 minutes) and the fitbit recognizes the bike riding but still counts steps as well. How can I make sure it doesn't count steps during bike riding? I would like it to be as accurate as possible. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately youncant stop it counting steps on a bike as the tracker feels all the bumps and thinks they must be steps. I have found I get far less steps recorded when my tyres are soft, but when they are really pumped up hard I get LOTS. Just something we have to live with I'm afraid!

Thanks for your reply Nelly.
But how come the fitbit notices by itself that i'm riding a bike (it automatically registers Outdoor Bike training) and still count steps? This should not be very difficult to fix I guess.
Also, when I click on the automatically by fitbit registered Outdoor Bike session it says +0 of ... steps taken. However, it did count steps...
I hope Fitbit will be able to fix this soon, it really bothers me that my steps aren't accurate.

Will this issue be fixed in the near future?

The same is here. I even earned a Badge 'Best in a day ' for the steps while bike riding.
