Steps not syncing from the last three days

I had been having issues with my versa completely killing my phone battery life (using 90% off the battery usage in a 4 hour period) so I turned off all day sync, and always connected. I did that three days ago and hadn't manually synced with my phone since then. Today I went to sync up my steps and it successfully synced today but wont sync anything other than calories for the last three days. I thought the fitbit versa is supposed to hold onto this information for 7 days without syncing? Am I doing something wrong?

Hello @mstanford not knowing what type of phone you have, is your Fitbit app up to date? Please check this. 

Now on the app, tap the picture of your tracker, the next page will tell you when the last sync was. 

 

The fact that you see today's data might simply be the app acting as a remote display.. 

Tap on the today step tile. Does the steps on the next page match the tracker?
