Steps tracked when Versa was not worn

I don't have my versa on and is tracked 18,888 steps. This is inaccurate.  I don't trust this watch anymore.

Did you leave it sitting someplace subject to vibrations, such as on a table with a fan?  Such vibrations can be interpreted as steps.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@Jeca Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Versa tracked a huge amount of steps when you were not wearing it. As my friend @JohnnyRow mentioned, surfaces with vibrations can make the Fitbit to track steps if it's on them. However, if this was not the case, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally. After this, please monitor your tracker during the next 48 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
