Hello,
I have been using this Fitbit versa since April and did not have any issues with my sleep logs and sleep cycles. Starting 7/17 it was saying I was sleeping and I was not. Ever since I have been having issues off and on. Last time it detected sleep was sunday and it wasn't even a detail sleep cycle. What can I do to fix this issue? One of the major reasons I bought this watch for the sleep/cycle feature.

Have you restarted your Versa several times? If not give it a go and let us know if that helps.
