Hey Fitbit!!!
Here's an idea:
(Some facts first: Fitbit is part of the Google company now. Fitbit Versa 3 has included Spotify and Deezer music services. Also, Versa 3 already works with Google Assistant)Why not include YOUTUBE MUSIC in Fitbit too?
Why not expand the possibilities of this amazing alliance with Google?
I don't like Spotify, and I don't want to pay for another music service (Deezer) just to use it in my smartwatch.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Who´s there with me?
Give us that possibility.
Thanks for reading.
🥰

Hi @Heki @Gabriel9595 , if you run any music on your phone you can control it already with Music controls from the watch.
Double press the button and click on music.

@Gabriel9595- if you have a Versa 3, double press the button to bring up the 4 on screen shortcuts, one of which is Music controls.
If you have reconfigured the shortcuts you can correct the shortcuts in the watch Settings menu.
How do I control music with my Fitbit device?
It can look like this when running and controlling music running on your phone

Hello @MarreFitbit,
a year has passed by and I'd like to ask, if this feature is on it's way.
As I can see 8 people have upvoted your answer but as you already know, there is a strong need for this feature 😉
I prefer my Versa 3 to my galaxy watch 4 and would really appreciate if I could use it for running with music instead of changing to galaxy watch 4 only to have music on my ears. (I'm a google fan boy from the very beginning since and therefore a youtube music subscriber 😉
Best regards
Peter

I am very disappointed that we can no longer upload our own music to fitbit, I was able to upload music to my Ionic but with the recall of that device, I bought the Versa 3. So now we cannot upload our own personal music to the Versa. Why on the other hand do we have to pay for Pandora on Fitbit when we can listen to it free on our phones?

Great, I too don’t want another music service I have to pay for! Thanks

I've only had my Fitbit Versa 3 for 2 weeks and in this short time, I have not once seen my music or music controls appear on the watch. I use YouTube Music to play music from my phone, and I always have it connected to my wifi or a store's wifi. I have gone through all the steps given to start playing music on the watch, and still the music never ever appears. So, you say the music "should" appear on the watch when I play music from my phone, but the reality is that it doesn't, and never has.

Hi @MrsSmith_2013 - when you are playing music on your phone and you double press the watch button and select music controls you should be able to control what is playing.
The sound doesn't come through the watch speaker but should appear on the phone or any Bluetooth attached ear piece.
