Swim will not pause or turn off

I got the Versa Lite yesterday so that I could log my swims with other exercise... it started fine, but will not pause or turn off... it did not count laps, pace etc. Any ideas please...

I had exactly the same issue this morning - hope someone has some answers

Tap the bottom right button to pause. 

Now the top right to finish.

And confirm

Left button to exit 

If the above fails, do a restart.

FWIW I’m done with Fitbit for swimming. Have talked with customer support and I feel there is no interest in bringing FB up to the level it needs to be.

Apple is more expensive but I like the interface .  Don’t laugh at my times...this is my first recorded workout and I had entered the pool length incorrectly.  And started the workout incorrectly (live and learn)  But you get the idea.  And there’s a lot more. Data I can use to improve my times. Can’t wait for my next swim!
