Moved up to the Versa from the Alta Hr a few days ago. Alta HR worked flawlessly and I experienced ZERO sync issues with it whatsoever. I have had a some sync issues with the Versa and was close to sending it back after about 36 hours, however I seem to have worked through those now and am syncing more regularly, although I do still get "cannot find Device" messages. My question is, what is the difference between a "sync" and a "refresh" as both of these show at different times when I go into the mobile App to look at my data?
Thanks

That is a good question that I have not seen explained by Fitbit.
I think it goes with the new fitbit app, rather having to do with tracker switch.
Here's the explanation I have figured out that seems to make sense, but no guarantee:
The phone app display used to keep up with changes in steps, calories, etc via the bluetooth connection without actually syncing to the fitbit database through wifi.
Now it seems the display does not keep up, but updates only when it says 'refreshing'. But that is just getting the phone display up-to-date without going to the fitbit database. To finish a true update, have to try again until get 'syncing'.
I've been getting 'device not found' more often lately too, but then it will work if I try a few more times, or wait a few minutes.
