I have a Blaze and recently got a new Versa. My husband is now using the Blaze and we are using separate iPhone for syncing, but find they are not syncing the right info for the individual Fitbit.

Have you double check that your Blaze isn't pair to your account anymore? If you haven't, I recommend checking the Fitbit app and if you see the Blaze icon it means that it is still paired to your account. To delete it from your account you just need to tap the Blaze icon and then the trash icon and delete it.
And to setup the Versa, make sure you are following the instructions provided in the help article How do I set up my Fitbit device?.
