Syncing??

I got my first Fitbit versa 2 at Christmas..worked great for 3 /4 weeks but recently it's not syncing and I'm not receiving my calls or messages.  After a week I eventually got an answer from Fitbit that there  is an issue with the software and they are trying to fix...which may take months!! Has anyone had this??
