I am trying to figure out if it is possible to turn off the tap to wake on fitbit Versa? It is so annoying that every little movment turns on the screen!

You can't turn off "Tap to Wake", Jamie, but if by chance you are referring to "Screen Wake" by raising and turning your wrist, that can be turned off by a long push on left button and changing "Screen Wake" setting to "Manual" rather than "Auto".

What a joke, I'm constantly having issues with it turning on and having random things like alarms setting or workouts starting from things as simple as rain and there is no option to turn it off!?

I am having the same issue. I have turned the screen wake to manual but it's still turning on with any tap to the top frame or while clapping.

I ended up taking my watch back and getting a Motive smart ring and I LOVE
IT!

They've locked the thread on this feature request so it seems they're not going to implement it. My watch constantly lights up at night and I wish I could choose to only check my watch when I push the side button. What's funny is the raise to wake and tap to wake works like 40% of the time but for some reason moving my arm on covers cuts it on. I guess when you get a watch that costs half the price of an apple watch you get half the features (or toggles to turn said features off). It seems Fitbit wants you to use the Versa the way THEY want you to use it and if your lifestyle is any different than theirs then TOUGH. I've never seen a fitbit and said "WOW that's a clever feature!" But I've often said "WOW they came so close but just missed the mark!"

That’s how I’m feeling right now. This has been a huge disappointment.
