I'm pleased to say that I now receive call notifications after the up date. However on the downside the text/email notifications are now received but almost instantly deleted. Is there some deletion option that I have inadvertently applied as previously they would all remain until I manually cleared them.

Regarding your inquiry, no, your notifications shouldn't be deleted instantly. Have you tried to restart your Versa? If you haven't, I recommend restarting it by doing the following:
