Text/email notifications are instantly deleted

I'm pleased to say that I now receive call notifications after the up date. However on the downside the text/email notifications are now received but almost instantly deleted. Is there some deletion option that I have inadvertently applied as previously they would all remain until I manually cleared them.

It's great to see you participating in the Community @BrianLeach and hear that your Versa is receiving notifications.

 

Regarding your inquiry, no, your notifications shouldn't be deleted instantly. Have you tried to restart your Versa? If you haven't, I recommend restarting it by doing the following:

 

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Thank you for the response.
Following the software update the device now does virtually everything I want it to do.
I am reluctant to do what you suggest however because of the time which seems to be involved in transferring information from the phone to the device.
For example I performed the software up date away from home last weekend and it took approximately 3 hours. I am concerned that a restart might also take a while.
