Hi,
i got my versa yesterday for Christmas and I like it but I’m finding annoying the fact that I CAN receive notifications from apps and phone calls on my watch but I CAN’T receive texts. I wonder if it was because I’m mostly using iMessages (i have an iPhone 6s) but when I received a “normal” text message it still didn’t work. I’ve checked the settings on my phone and they are alright, my watch is syncing with my phone and connected on Bluetooth.
Do i have to return it or what can i do?

I have the same issue. And had it with my Alta HR. Calendar and calls, but no texts. Seems they fixed the issue for android phones, but have yet to do so for the iphone. I did tech support with my alta regarding this issue and they said they were working to fix it, but nothing yet. Was hoping it was just my alta and not an issue with iphone message compatability. (BTW, the message feature did used to work, but got messed up with either an update to the iphone or the fitbit)
Someone please tell us there has been progress on this!!!!! Android users had their issue fixed in June!

Just received a FitBit Versa as a gift from a friend, but before, I had the Charge 2. I can’t remember when I stopped receiving texts on the Charge 2 (which was having other issues), so I thought when I got the Versa, the problem would have been with the Charge 2, and I would start getting text notifications again, but no such luck. I have an IPhone 6 Plus, so I then started thinking it was an update through my iOS that was causing the glitch. Whatever it is, it’s really inconvenient when your phone has to be on silent and put away 90% of your day.
