The "App" Function on my phone doesn't exist

Hello, I just received my Versa and my first impression isn't going so well. I've had A LOT of trouble syncing it with my phone and it finally synced. The calories are all over the place but I'll check again tomorrow and give it a chance. The thing is it isn't letting me do much, I'm trying to sync the weather and I can't because it asks me to open the app on my phone and when I go to my phone it doesn't give me the "App" function. It doesn't exist. I can't download anything or check apps because I dont have it in my Menu. Also, it doesn't Sync with my phone so I can't check if I got a call, email, message, etc. I'm really disappointed honestly ... I bought it to keep track of my swimming but if the problems continue I'm definitely returning. Not worth the trouble.

@marthaminjares What phone are you using? It is sounding like a compatability issue.

Yes, it seems that it is a compatibility issue. I spoke to customer service and it seems to be that. I have a Xiaomi Mi Max and that model isn't in the compatible list. However, I tried it last night swimming and it was very exact on the laps and time, and that was what I wanted it for so I guess I'm keeping it lol I guess I'll have to update my phone now!

So, I'm terribly embarrassed, but I was playing around with the app and I found the button. My fitbit mobile app is a bit different from what I read or saw online or in the set up PDF. It says to click on the dashboard to open the menu and edit Notifications. But on my phone you have to click the watch that is besides the dashboard. It's like 2 different menus, but it is there. 🙂 So if someone else is having trouble with this maybe that is the solution!
