  • Hello! I understand that when I, and or others sometimes wake up in the middle of the night without realizing it. However, I am concerned with little dashes I got of red for “not awake” on my sleep. Their were so many that it seemed very weirdly concerning? Does sleeping next to someone even though the fitbit is on my affect the tracking? I am new to the fitbit world and just feel very intriguing

You can see an example of the red tick lines along the 'awake' line here https://blog.fitbit.com/sleep-stages-explained/

I can't find any official information about what they are, but I assume they are moments where you moved or were disturbed, but not enough for it to count as 'awake'.

Hi @Makdaddy69h - can you post a photo of the red dashes if different from those shown in the link provided by @James291 .

Try clicking on your sleep graph in the Fitbit App then swipe graph to the left to get explanations and more information on each of the stages.
