Thoughts on Sending Back Versa

So recently in the past month I had decided to buy another Fitbit the Charge 3 in the hopes of the battery life being better and a little more slicker/smaller than the Versa. So far so good with that one. Although the Versa was great for less than 6 months...I truly feel that there was something faulty with it and even when I got the replacement there was still no change. I didn’t know what else to do and I still don’t know whether to send it back explaining my problem and how I don’t want it anymore. I was thinking of trying to sell it but I don’t know if that would be a good option. I normally never complain about Fitbit because I have truly loved their products till I had the Versa. Anyone else has thoughts or suggestions on what I should being doing?

@kgreen327 I think it would be difficult to return it now, after all you've been using it for 6 months. The fact you got CH3 and are happy with it is inconsequential here. Please don't get me wrong, but unless Versa is broken, you're long past the return period. Now, out of curiosity, what's the issue you're having with Versa? How long does the battery last, etc?

Oh okay that’s what I thought, I shouldn’t have bought the Versa very bummed about my outcome. And the problem with it was the battery doesn’t last more 1-2 days and my steps were inaccurate like increasing more than it should!

Hi, @kgreen327! Really sorry to hear your experience. I love my Versa and haven't had any of the same battery issues. Mine lasts the 5 days as promised. I guess your only recourse at this point would be to contact Fitbit Support again and see if they will replace it again, since it should still be within the warranty period. They definitely won't take it back as a return, though.

Yeah I just want to get berid if it at this point, it was great until I used it in water but I mean I also should have taken better care of it. I mean I would like it to be my back on days where I would like to wear the device but I am not as interested as I should be even though I was really excited to buy it at first. But I mean I don’t know honestly what else I can do at this point I tried everything they suggested and nothing changed.

@kgreen327 I agree with @MakMak on the battery. Mine lasts 5 days as well. Please perform factory reset if you haven't done so to force update to 2.2 version of Versa's firmware. Some people have reported battery life improvement. If nothing changes, please contact Customer Support for a replacement. Good luck.

I am thinking about sending back both my versa pieces with the box that the original came in. I feel like I should possibly either get a full refund because I had bought within the days that they will allow to help me out. But the refurbished one didn’t work. Is there anyway to have someone let me know if this is something I should do or speak with them for another solution?
