Syncing two watches at the same time

I understand that Fitbit won't allow two different devices at the same time to be stored on the same account. I intend to use my Google pixel watch just for running, especially since the battery doesn't last very long, but then use my inspire 2 as the everyday watch.

I understand that I may have to do syncing and then switch them regularly, which is dumb. But is there any long-term impact from doing that? Switching back and forth? I really love my inspire 2 watch. It's simple and more of what I need day to day, but obviously it doesn't have the running capabilities to Google pixel does.

Can someone tell me of any drawbacks from this approach aside from the time and irritation?

Are there any plans to make Fitbit allow two devices? Cuz that would be helpful!

@AlenaM there aren't any impacts on your Pixel Watch or Inspire 2 from switching devices. You only need to switch them in the Fitbit app. The Pixel Watch can stay set up in the Watch app, so you can save a little time.

I agree with you that it would be nice to be able to have more than one device at a time in the Fitbit app. People have been asking for that for years. I haven't seen any indication that there are plans to allow that, unfortunately.

Added question:
Let's say I set up inspire 2 and leave it for a while.
Then I set up pixel in the watch app and also in Fitbit. I then do 1 work
out, sync it.
Immediately after, I switch Fitbit app back to inspire 2.
I then continue to use inspire 2 for day to day and pixel for periodic
workouts (pixel isn't in Fitbit, inspire is). Maybe several weeks later, I
switch to pixel in Fitbit and sync.
Will it upload all my workouts I had during the time when day to day was
inspire 2? Will it fill in the "holes" when inspire 2 wasn't being used
during workouts?

@AlenaM   I think I understand what you are saying.  Sorry, but that’s not how this works.  The only activity that can sync is the data from the paired device.  If you use your PW for a run while your Inspire 2 is paired, you will have a gap in the data.

@AlenaM   To the best of my knowledge, switching every time is the only way to make it work.
