What tyoevof error do you receive @Kellyx?

I was annoyed at this too. Majority of UK banks aren't supported by Fitbit Pay. Sucks a bit. Nothing to do with credit etc just geared to the US market.

Best Answer

There are plenty of non US banks, but each bank has to be setup individually with Fitbit since every transaction goes to your bank and checked with Fitbit.

There are 4 UK banks listed. And of them, the only mainstream one is Danske. Poor show from Fitbit for one of their larger sales markets. GooglePay, ApplePay and whoever else don't seem to have an issue getting banks signed up, so why does Fitbit?

Best Answer

It just means the banks haven't gotten on board yet, who's fault is that?

I'm not sure what it takes for a bank to link up, but we do have a few Fitbit users in the community that work in the department of their bank that only handles Fitbit pay transactions.

What ever is required, some banks have hired people to strickly be only responsible in make ng sure that Fitbit pay works.

It sounds like it might be more then simply turning a switch.

I'm not blaming Fitbit or the bank, I'm simply saying that with as many banks their are in the world, and each bank needing to hook up individually it could take time.

Also we are still not to the point where every credit card can be used in every country.

@Kellyx I don't understand your question?

When setting up Fitbit pay, the bank, with the help of Fitbit assigns, a virtual credit card to the Versa.

Is this tye response that you received from your bank or from Fitbit @Kellyx

If from Fitbit, it simply means the bank has not gotten on board yet? If from the bank, I would encourage them to reach out to Fitbit.

Sure they are called Andoid and Google Pay, you use them with the phone.

I'm asking if there's a way to use them on the versa. I know how to use it
on my phone.
Best Answer

With Samsung, Google, and Android pay, the banks assign a virtual card to each device. This card can only be used with the one device.

Therefore no third party app will be able to work.
