I’ve had a issue where an old txt messages appears and I can’t delete it. I did the reset, but that works for a day or so.  Had to reset it 3 times last week. There has to be another way to fix this.

Hi, you can get rid of these messages by restarting your Versa several times in a row by pressing the left amd right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. One restart does not do the trick.

Sorry if you have already tried this but this is what worked for me. I have a Versa but I’m sure it works the same. To delete those messages that won’t go away when pressing clear, press and hold the top button on the right while also holding the button on the left at the same time. You will have to hold them both for a few seconds but after a few seconds, the screen will go black and the Fitbit icon will come up. It “restart” and those messages will disappear.

If you messages aren’t showing up at all, you will need to completely delete your Fitbit from your device and set it up again.

Your suggestion does work for my Ionic.  I tried several times with no success in removing the text.

Finally, went into setting on the Ionic watch, went to the menu option under about this device, choose the shutdown option,  Fitbit Ionic watch shutdown and rebooted cleanly and delete the old the text msg.

Now receiving text msgs again.  Thanks for your suggestion
