Wife and husband share the same email. Wife has a Fitbit Charger 3, unable to set up husband's fitbit versa due to email used to set up wife's Fitbit. How can this be by-passed?

You need a different email for each user.  Emails accounts are free and easily available.  If necessary, create one just for this one purpose.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
