Unable to sync Versa 2

I have owned a Fitbit from the first generation to now owning a Versa 2. Our Cox cable and internet were out of service for several hours last week. When service was restored, the time on my Fitbit was not correct. Neither the hour nor the minute hand were anywhere close to the correct time. I spent over two hours using the internet for help. I reset the Fitbit, reinstalled the app, turned bluetooth off and on, turned Set Automatically in the Time Zone setting off (the time zone was always correct), etc. After hours of frustration, i decided to call Fitbit help. The first person who answered (Linda) had such a heavy accent I could hardly understand her. I had to ask her to repeat instructions several times. She hung up on me. I called again and was connected to "Julie" who again was difficult to understand. After several instructions, again I was hung up on. This type of behavior in my opinion is unacceptable for customer support. I will no longer use a Fitbit and have opted to purchase an Apple Smartwatch.

I hope you are pleased with your Apple Watch and keep stepping.

It doesn't matter now if you are set on Apple watch, but the (only) way to set date and time is to sync.  Date and time are taken from phone or other sync device at each sync.  It's too bad you didn't come here for help first.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Over the course of the two hours and both customer support people, I would estimate that I synced a dozen or more times. That did not correct the time.
