Unimpressed needs Screen saver

I want a low power consumption dim display of an easy to read clock instead of blank screen when screen turns off (Like pebble). Also more oprions for waking up screen like shaking wrist. Screen only wakes up half the time I try the wrist movement is to subtle its very annoying, not only does the versa not control the music on my phone properly or reply to texts as advertised it hardly works as a watch.

@XenDazzle if you have the screen always on you will flatten your battery a lot faster. But I believe ther are some clock faces that allow you to do this (at least there are for the Ionic, though I dont know which ones)

As far as waking the watch goes you get better at doing it as you learn what movement works best. Generally I find a turn from horizontal to vertical does it. Preferably not too violent - just a deliberate motion.

As far as answering texts - that is coming. I saw somewhere it is expect by the end of May, but I have no idea if that is accurate or not.

Only way to do an always on screen would be changing the screen type to like a LCD screen which would ugly.  Always on would run the battery down in half a day.

But it is an LCD screen. The options for options is always best. Let people choose what works for them is better than no choice. I want a faint dim time display no matter what it looks like, other watches do it and it's a function I require.

What you are want will not be found on the Versa, so you bought the wrong watch. Fitbit does make an always on watch, check out their site.

Ive found there's in fact only one movement that it responds to which is arm up at 90 degrees then slight rotation toward face, but when I'm working with my arms down it's a  position that confuse the watch and no matter how careful i am I can't make it light up so an option to increase sensitivity or shake wrist to wake up would be most welcome.

Only other choice is to tap the screen.

True but i don't have a free hand, and tap doesn't seem to work 100% of the time I've been tapping away to no avail and when it's unresponsive to twist or rap only a button press will work.

The free clockface “Flat Jarvis” offers an always on option.  You just tap the screen 3 times and it will stay on.  Tap 3 more times to turn off.  I haven’t left it on for hours at a time so I don’t know how it would affect the battery.  There may be other clock faces that offer this but it’s the only one I’ve noticed so far.  Hope that helps 🙂

That's the truth. All the hardware is there on the versa but the software isn't.
